Overview

The online ordering component of the Cousins Subs website was not converting as well as it could be. Analytics indicated substantial customer confusion in the ordering process with a substantial abandonment rate – 7 out 8 carts were abandoned.

Taking Action

In evaluating the data, we concluded it was vital to update the user flow and online guest experience to grow online conversion and sales. We created a dynamic REACT front end while streamlining the order process and limiting clicks – doing more while on one page. We restructured the visual priority to increase sales as well.

The Outcome

Clarity and fewer clicks lead to more sales. With just the navigation changes, Cousins Subs has seen a 36.49% year-over-year order completion increase, and the average ticket grew by 15.3%. By updating the user flow and online guest experience we will continue to grow online conversion and sales.
